Monterosa Ski complex accommodates 35 installations to take you up to the slopes and 3 moving sidewalks. The Monte Rosa pistes roam for 180 kms with slopes which come and go at many different capacity
levels. For the main part, the pistes are "blue", meaning "easy" but each Monterosa Ski station also offers "red" ones which are of medium difficulty. However, there is no lack of "black" pistes where the expert skier can test his skills. This skiing area also has artificial snow-making equipment numbering 400 snow-cannons, which ensure skiing on a total of 70 kms of slopes. The area covers a maximum altitude of 3550 metres at Punta Indren down to a minimum of 1186 metres at Alagna. If
